Position: Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Full Time or Part Time
Location: Cleveland County Jail North Carolina
Schedule: 12 Hour Day Shifts 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM

Qualifications

Must be currently listed and in good standing on the North Carolina Medication Aide Registry

Previous experience as a Medication Aide, CMA, or in a healthcare setting preferred

Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire

Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication administration safety

Ability to maintain accurate documentation and follow established healthcare procedures

Effective communication and teamwork skills

Ability to obtain and maintain facility security clearance
What You'll Do

Administer medications under nursing supervision

Follow the Five Rights of Medication Administration

Assist with patient observations and vital signs as needed

Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation

Support safe, consistent patient care in a secure healthcare setting

Work collaboratively with nursing staff and healthcare providers
