Assembler -- 1st and 2nd shift available

Join our team as an Assembler, where you will be responsible for assembling parts according to drawings and instructions, ensuring both quality and quantity objectives are met. You will verify part accuracy using various measuring equipment and gauges, complete necessary paperwork, and perform quality checks on parts in your assigned process. As an assembler, you will assist new employees in learning how to operate equipment and read specification sheets, drawings, and quality plans. You will also be required to read work orders, follow instructions, and align parts in specified relationships. Rotational tasks across departmental jobs are expected, as well as attending required training sessions. Adhering to quality and safety standards is a priority, and you may be assigned special projects.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts according to drawings and instructions.
• Verify part accuracy using measuring equipment and gauges.
• Complete necessary paperwork on line as needed.
• Quality check parts in the assigned process.
• Assist new employees with learning how to operate equipment, read specification sheets, drawings, and quality plans.
• Read work orders, follow instructions, and align parts in specified relationships.
• Rotate to all departmental jobs within the job classification.
• Attend training as required.
• Adhere to quality and safety systems and standards.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Proficiency in using measurement tools and gauges.
• Understanding of quality control processes.
• Experience with hand tools and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per day.

Work Environment

Experience one of the nicest production environments, with climate and humidity-controlled conditions due to the handling of power strips. Our team consists of approximately 60 members per shift, operating in three shifts: 1st shift from 6am-2pm, 2nd shift from 2pm-10pm, and 3rd shift specifics provided on inquiry. Dress code includes steel toe footwear, jeans, safety glasses, and ear protection

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincoln, NE.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Lincoln,NE.
