Software Sales Executive, New Business

Location: Auburn, CA (Hybrid, 3 days in office / 2 days remote) Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Reports To: VP of Sales Compensation: $75K to $125K base salary plus $75K to $125K commission, for $150K to $250K on-target earnings. Job Description We\'re looking for a hungry, energetic Software Sales Executive to help grow HuLoop\'s new business pipeline. This is a hunter role. You\'ll prospect, qualify, and close new logos across community banks, credit unions, retailers, and other target industries, working closely with Solution Engineers, Work Optimization Consultants, and company leadership along the way. This role is a strong fit for someone early-to-mid career who wants to grow quickly, learn from experienced sales leadership, and make a direct impact inside a scaling AI software company. Job Responsibilities Generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, social selling, partner collaboration, events, and targeted account outreach. Build and manage pipeline across community banks, credit unions, retail, wholesale, collections, and other target industries. Run discovery conversations focused on operational inefficiencies and Work Optimization opportunities. Coordinate software demonstrations and proof-of-value discussions that show clear fit. Create sales proposals, ROI models, and professional services estimates. Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets, with a track record of consistent goal attainment. Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts, customer records, and opportunity data in the CRM. Work closely with Solution Engineers, Product Specialists, Marketing, Implementation, and Executive Leadership to win business. Stay current on AI, Intelligent Agents, automation, and future-of-work trends, along with competitor activity. Represent HuLoop at conferences, webinars, trade shows, and customer meetings. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree preferred, not required. 1 to 5 years of experience in software sales, business development, SaaS, fintech, automation, or a related technology field. Strong communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging executives, operations leaders, and technology stakeholders. Competitive, self-motivated, and highly driven. Strong organizational and follow-through skills. Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce preferred. Genuine interest in AI, Intelligent Agents, and automation. Comfortable working with teams and resources across time zones. Prior banking, credit union, retail, or enterprise software experience is a plus but not required.
