About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their dynamic team. The CFO will be a key partner to the CEO, leading the financial strategy and operations of the business. This role is pivotal in the company's growth, with a focus on project, strategic, and corporate finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for all finance functions, including FP&A, accounting, strategic finance, project finance, and capital raising. Emphasizing the importance of project finance, the CFO will also be involved in training and developing a strong team, as well as nurturing relationships with existing and prospective investors and Board Members. Collaboration with all departments to implement financial analysis and forecasting, and a hands-on approach to establishing robust financial controls and processes, are essential. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a background in project development, experience in a scale-up journey, and be excellent communicators and team builders. Strategic thinking is a must, and experience in investment banking, big 4 accounting, or a climate tech startup is highly valued. The role requires the CFO to be a leader not only in financial matters but also in supporting the business on operational, legal, and people projects.
