The North American segment operates 9 manufacturing facilities as well as 26 distribution and supply centers in 11 states.This is a hands-on job, which includes both mechanical and electrical skills. As the Electrical Technician you will install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and parts, such as control panels, motors, hydraulic pneumatic, be adept at installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining PLC and/or computer controlled production equipment and controls to include Modicon and Allen Bradley equipment.Required skills/abilities:Must be able to read prints, diagrams, schematics, programs and operating instructions and have a record of dependability and outstanding job attendanceMust be able to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on a wide variety of industrial equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics and conveyorsTroubleshooting maintaining and installing electrical equipment.Qualifications:Associates degree in electrical technology or comparable degree from an accredited school or collegeExperience with PLC (Allen Bradley) and/or computer-controlled production equipment a plus2-5 years of hands-on electrical maintenance experienceMust be able to read and understand complex program and equipment manuals with a moderate degree of comprehension and accuracyPossess experience in AC/DC motor control.Glen-Gery offers a competitive salary and benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance and 401(k) plan.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
