Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a fast-paced Operating Room environment, delivering expert patient care as a Registered Nurse. Collaborate with a dynamic surgical team, utilizing your clinical knowledge and strong organizational abilities to ensure safe, effective outcomes for every patient.

Schedule:

• Shifts run from 8:30am to 9:00pm.
• Call required once weekly (9:00pm–7:00am).
• Every sixth weekend on call (Saturday/Sunday, either 7:00am–7:00pm or 7:00pm–7:00am).

Qualifications:

• Active RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience circulating in Level 2 or higher Trauma Operating Rooms.
• Skilled in robotics; experience with Ortho Trauma and Neuro required.
• No heart surgery experience necessary.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to effectively collaborate within a clinical team and respond to rapidly evolving situations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the delivery of quality, compassionate care to surgical patients.
• Employ the nursing process for assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Circulate in advanced operating rooms, assisting with complex surgical cases and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Provide clear, supportive education and information to patients and their families.
• Document all aspects of patient care and contribute to surgical team briefings and debriefings.
• Identify variances from patient care goals, actively participate in interdisciplinary problem-solving, and ensure solutions are implemented.
