Urology- NP/PA

Erlanger is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a busy outpatient Urology practice focused on the evaluation and management of stone disease and general urologic conditions. The APP will work collaboratively with board-certified urologists to provide comprehensive patient care, including outpatient consultations, follow-up visits, diagnostic evaluations, patient education, and care coordination. This position is involved in a team-based approach to care.

Team members are trained to meet the highest level of function for their role as per the State of Tennessee/Georgia guidelines. Is trained and assigned (as per their role and responsibilities) to coordinate care for patients and is trained and assigned to support patients/families/caregivers in self-management, self-efficacy and behavior change. Is trained and assigned (as per their role and responsibilities) to manage the practices' patient population. Participates in the practice's quality improvement process and performance evaluation.

Education: Required: Completion from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program, Family Nurse Practitioner Program, Adult Nurse Practitioner Program or Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant Program. Experience: Preferred: Minimum of three years experience in a physician office setting preferred Position Requirement(s): License/Certification/Registration Required: Current licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Tennessee Preferred: Certification in areas of specialty preferred.
