Validation Engineer

Our Client, an IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Validation Engineer for their Auburn Hills, MI location.
Responsibilities:
- Create test plans for electrical features across the vehicle: cluster, radio, body control module, telematics, and powertrain
- Develop, maintain, and execute test plans (DVP&R) at the vehicle level
- Report defects based upon test plan failures
- Develop and maintain subsystem test benches
- Root cause analysis of issues found
- Provide feedback on System Requirements to ensure specs are testable
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- Relevant automotive experience
- Knowledge of CAN based communication and tools
- Experience with multimeters and oscilloscopes
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of CANFD and Ethernet protocol
- Creating test plans
- Performing System Behavior Testing
