Responsibilities Creating social media content (including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram reels, stories, etc.) to further storytelling and engagement on SIYMCA social media accounts. Researching and drafting posts for the SIYMCA social media accounts. Researching, interviewing, and authoring content for marketing collateral. Actively contributing ideas to reach new audiences and strengthen community engagement. Help to coordinate and execute community engagement initiatives and special events, sometimes requiring onsite attendance. Perform special projects and other duties as assigned or required. What You’ll Need Currently enrolled high school student and registered with Indiana Work & Learn account. Aspirations of working in the field of Marketing and appropriate coursework toward this path. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Highly self‑motivated and detail oriented. Ability to organize and prioritize projects efficiently with tight deadlines. Ability to lift 30 lbs. and stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time; occasionally stoop/bend. Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times. Experience with using social media platforms in a professional setting, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram (i.e. managing school club or brand accounts). Computer proficiency: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Creative, flexible, self‑directed, problem solver with an attention to detail and strong communication skills. Ability to take and apply project feedback quickly. Must be able to work in‑person approximately 3 days a week totaling 8–15 hours per week. Must have personal vehicle to travel during work hours for photo and video shoots or to pick up/drop off promotional materials. Ability to attend some events outside of work hours (nights and weekends) for onsite video and photography required.
