The Supervisor – Unit & Electrical Assembly leads day-to-day production operations within the unit and electrical assembly area at the Waukesha manufacturing site. This role is responsible for driving team performance, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and executing production plans to meet customer delivery commitments.This position offers a unique opportunity to play a key role in the start-up of a new manufacturing line, directly impacting operational success, team development, and process execution from the ground up.The Supervisor will coach and develop employees, maintain efficient workflows, and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and continuously improve assembly processes while delivering a high-quality product in a safe work environment.What you’ll do:Safety & CompliancePromote and maintain a safe working environment and ensure adherence to all safety policies and proceduresEnsure proper use of equipment, PPE, and safe work practices within the assembly areaSupport internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company and ISO standardsPeople Leadership & DevelopmentLead, coach, and support team members in the unit and electrical assembly areaProvide regular feedback, manage performance, and support employee development plansDevelop and implement training programs for production techniciansFoster a positive, engaged, and accountable team environmentOperations & ExecutionOversee daily production activities to meet schedule, quality, and delivery targetsEstablish daily, weekly, and monthly production objectives and communicate expectations to the teamProactively manage production flow to ensure on-time delivery to customersIdentify and address production issues, bottlenecks, and material shortagesCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with materials, engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to ensure production readinessCoordinate staffing, scheduling, and resource planning to meet business needsCommunicate effectively with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and align prioritiesContinuous Improvement & QualityDrive a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the assembly areaMonitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and enhance performanceParticipate in projects and other business initiatives to improve processes related to Lean operations, cost savings, new product development, safety, quality, and employee training and development.Support problem-solving efforts and implement corrective actionsWhat you’ll haveBachelor’s degree in a manufacturing or related field OR equivalent experience (5+ years in manufacturing/assembly environment) Prior experience leading or supervising production teamsStrong understanding of manufacturing, industrial wiring, assembly processes, and production workflowsWhat will make you stand apart:Strong leader and team player with the ability to motivate and develop othersResults-driven with strong ownership and accountabilityAbility to influence and drive change in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyExperience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred)Additional Information:Location: Waukesha, WIWork Schedule: Onsite Monday through FridayTravel: This role will require an initial trip of approximately 2 months to Jenbach, Austria to become a unit assembly expert by working hands-on in Jenbachfor training and to establish relationships with the peers.Visa Sponsorship: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.#INNIO #productionsupervisionINNIO offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
