Senior Commercial Data Management Manager

SUMMARY/JOB PURPOSE (Basic purpose of the job):This role is responsible for collecting, validating, and managing customer data that drives business insights, supports sales, marketing, market access, patient support programs and ensures the smooth operation of commercial activities across the organization. This is a highly cross-functional role that will interface with Market Access Leaders, Trade Channel Partners, Internal IT and Operations teams, and several Data Vendors.ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Customer Data ManagementOversee the collection, validation, and management of customer data spanning trade channel operations, sales and marketing operations, market access initiatives, patient support programs and syndicated data sourcingDrive the intake and integration of new customer data sources into 360 viewsOwn customer golden records, affiliations management and all associated business rules/processEnable cross-functional teams in leveraging customer master data for their respective business processesCustomer 360Own the development and maintenance of customer360 in partnership with ITCollaborate with IT and data analytics teams to automate data pipelines and improve data workflowsData Procurement, Contracts and AgreementsOversee and manage contracts for commercial data procurementOversee use and sharing of commercial data. Ensure data use agreements are in place when data is shared outside organizationExecute contracts to acquire new data assets per organization needs, and work with IT to ingest such data sources into the commercial data lake and warehouseCross-functional CollaborationWork closely with sales, marketing, finance, and customer operations teams to understand their data needs for driving actionable insights.Partner with market access teams to ensure that commercial data supports ongoing operational activities in relation to rebates, contracts and pricing etc.Project Management & Process OptimizationLead and participate in cross-functional projects aimed at optimizing data operations, improving data accessibility, and enhancing commercial processes.Identify and implement improvements in data processes to streamline workflows and increase operational efficiency.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:No supervisory responsibilities.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Education:BS/BA degree in related discipline and 5 years of related experience; orMasters in related discipline and 3 years of related experience; orEquivalent combination of education and experience Experience:5+ years of commercial operations consulting or direct commercial operations experience in the biotech, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries.2+ years of oncology experience is strongly preferred.Oral specialty drug experience is strongly preferred.Experience with multiple commercial data types, including trade channel data aggregation, EMR claims data, syndicated/third party data, as well as personal and non-personal promotional data, is strongly preferred.Hands on experience with industry standard data offerings (from IQVIA, Symphony, OneKey, and such)Prior commercial data analytics experience a plus.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Deep understanding of pharma trade channel data and various syndicated data sourcesExperience in managing customer data and driving MDM processesKnowledge of commercial business processes (Sales Ops, Digital Marketing) and how they interact with MDMExperience with data automation tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Python)Strategic thinking and cross functional problem solvingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcel, Access, and other database experienceAbility to review and process information from multiple sources. The base pay range for this position is $168,000 - $238,000 annually. The base pay range may take into account the candidate’s geographic region, which will adjust the pay depending on the specific work location.
