About the Role:

As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) , you will work closely with our occupational therapists to provide high-quality care to our residents. Your role will involve assisting with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans to help residents achieve their goals and maintain their independence. Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) will also provide support with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, and cognitive therapies.

Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
• Provide support with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, and cognitive therapies
• Work with residents to achieve their goals and maintain their independence
• Assist with equipment setup and maintenance
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of treatments and progress
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:

• Current certification and license as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in the state of Missouri
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience working with geriatric populations preferred
