Database AnalystJob Location: Tallahassee, FL (Hybrid Role)Job Duration: Long Term Contract PositionJob Description:Two-plus years of progressive cloud database experienceProven experience with Microsoft SQL and Oracle databasesExperience with integration and deployment of SQL with outside sources and applicationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent team-collaboration skillsPreferred Experience:Experience with Azure SQL Databases (i.e., single, elastic, Managed Instance, IaaS)Azure Data certificationWorking knowledge of ETL tools (i.e., SSIS, Azure Data Factory)Data Warehousing, specifically Azure Data Lake, Snowflake or equivalentExperience defining database systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing, and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlinesRequired Duties and Responsibilities:Provide overall migration assistance for Oracle Database to Azure.Provide recommendation and guidance in developing a strategic plan to migrate current Oracle and SQL-backed applications to public cloud.Advise on a pathway of governance for achieving program objectives.Create and maintain technical documentation of the future system architecture.Education/Certifications Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or other technology related field or one (1) year of DevOps experience for each year of education
