Production Machine Operator – Cutter

Location: Rochester, NY
Pay: $17.00–$18.00/hr, based on experience and shift
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

No Previous Printing Experience Required!

Kelly Services is hiring Production Machine Operators – Cutters for a busy printing production facility in Rochester. This is an entry-level opportunity with training provided, making it a great opportunity for candidates looking to build manufacturing and machine operation experience.

Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, packaging, or machine operation experience is helpful but not required.

B Shift Schedule

• Monday–Tuesday: 10:00 AM–8:30 PM
• Wednesday–Friday: 10:00 AM–6:30 PM
• Mandatory Peak Season Overtime: Sunday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Important: During peak season, the schedule may change to a standard 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, Sunday–Thursday schedule.

Additional overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required during peak production periods. Great ways to earn extra cash!

What You'll Do

• Operate cutting equipment to trim printed materials according to specifications
• Set up cutting programs based on job requirements
• Inspect materials for accurate measurements, alignment, and cut quality
• Monitor equipment and report production issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Assist with other production tasks as needed
• Follow safety and production procedures

What We're Looking For:

• Reliable attendance and transportation
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• Willingness to learn new equipment and processes
• Previous manufacturing, printing, production, warehouse, or machine operation experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must be available for mandatory peak-season overtime, including Sundays, weekends, and holidays as required
