Production team lead

salary: $19.2 - $19.25 per hour

work hours: 3 PM - 11 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Support Production Supervisor with the day-to-day activities to help drive our key metrics for the facility. Support the safety/quality expectations of the plant thru coordinated continuous improvement projects.
• Assists production supervisor to ensure production goals are achieved in order to meet delivery

• Ensures safety of team members within the site
• Understand and follow the MRB systems and participates in problem resolution as requested Responsible for ensuring production floor escalation, including escalation of quality concerns, scrap,
• and breakdown concerns Create and maintain documents & audits to support production shop floor systems
• Provide assistance for administrative tasks of the production team.
• Assist in the development of the 5S process, participate in auditing of these systems, and owns
• maintaining the 5-S system within the site
• Continuous Improvement actions/activities are developed, supported, and completed
• Assist in the development of POMS tools in the plant
• Ensures lines are properly staffed to meet production goals, including break planning, relief, and
• rotations, and responsible for line change-over planning
• Ensures all quality checks are completed (bi-hourly checks, error proofing/red rabbit, etc)

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
