Job Description
TITLE
CT Technologist

SCHEDULE
- Shift: Friday - Sunday, 7pm - 7:30am EST
- On Call: 2-3 call shifts/month

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
- Contract Length: 13 weeks

REQUIREMENTS
- NYS licensure
- Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Two (2) years of Level 1 Trauma Center experience
- BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
- Experience with Siemens and Philips equipment preferred
- Telemetry experience

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Confirm patient identity and verify exams prior to initiating scans.
- Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
- Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure their comfort.
- Insert IVs as required for the tests and position patients accordingly while utilizing safe patient handling techniques.
- Maintain accurate patient records by documenting necessary components within the electronic medical record system.
- Ensure images are correctly identified and transmitted to the imaging archive upon exam completion.
- Maintain a clean and safe scanning environment.
