Join the Orotex Team, Join the Orotex Family Shift: Sunday - Thursday 11pm-7:30amPurpose of the Position: Perform testing, inspections, and reports of materials and finished products to ensure the quality conforms to all customer and company standards.Duties and Responsibilities:Work independently to perform random sample testing on all manufactured products throughout the facilityEnsure all manufactured products meet specifications and requirementsUse a variety of tools such as, calipers, rulers, scales, and other quality lab toolsPerform visual inspections, pull tests, pressure tests, and deconstruct products to check integrityAudit containers and packaging for proper labels/countsInput data findings into quality tracking systemOther duties as assigned or requiredQualifications:Basic computer skills including Microsoft office (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel)Basic math skillsAbility to work independentlyAbility to understand spoken and written EnglishAbility to work overtime and needed 6 months minimum experience with hand held measuring devices (i.e. calipers, rulers, gages)Previous knowledge of injection molding qualityKnowledge of standard inspection processes and auditsHigh School Diploma or GEDPhysical Requirements:Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, walk for 8 plus hours dailyAbility to use both hand, wrists, and arms with continual motionAbility to push, pull, grasp, and reach objectsAbility to lift 30 plus pounds repeatedlyWorking Conditions:Temperature controlled facilityPersonal Protective Equipment RequiredSafety glasses at all times, safety gloves, non-slip work shoes, ear plugs as necessary
