• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify client concerns and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions using evidence-based practices, ensuring treatment is personalized to each client’s specific situation, whether addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship difficulties.

• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, providing vital support to clients experiencing distress, while ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate care and implement a holistic approach to treatment.

• Maintain thorough, confidential client records in compliance with ethical standards, using electronic medical record systems efficiently.

• Participate actively in continued education and training opportunities to stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in mental health counseling.

• Contribute to program development initiatives by offering ideas and feedback aimed at enhancing our services and client outcomes.

Your day-to-day interactions will involve working with a diverse patient population, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your role will be vital in creating a safe and affirmative space for clients from various backgrounds, including those facing cultural, social, and economic barriers. You’ll have the opportunity to help clients set and achieve personal goals while fostering their self-discovery and growth.

• A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Proven ability to establish rapport with clients, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities essential for effective counseling.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in counseling or therapeutic settings is preferred, although new graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to facilitate efficient documentation and client management.

• A demonstrated commitment to cultural competence, striving to provide inclusive and validating care for clients from various backgrounds.

• Experience in crisis management and therapeutic intervention, particularly in remote settings.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 52,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
