Transcendent Healing Therapeutic Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Mental Health Therapist to fill a full-time role specializing in the treatment of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. This position will primarily be conducted via a telehealth platform, offering flexible, remote services aimed at improving the mental well-being of our diverse clientele in Jamestown, New York.

Work Environment\n

This role is remote, allowing for flexible scheduling and the opportunity to conduct therapy from the comfort and safety of your own home. Our telehealth facility utilizes secure and user-friendly technology to create a supportive virtual space for our clients. Work hours will generally follow a Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis to accommodate our patients' needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to determine the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans collaboratively with clients, ensuring they align with their goals and preferences.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to the specific challenges presented by each client.

• Educate clients and their families about coping strategies related to mood disorders, treatment options, and the importance of self-care in the therapeutic process.

• Track and document client progress rigorously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to respond effectively to changing needs and circumstances.

This role primarily focuses on providing therapeutic services to adolescents and adults dealing with mood disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Strong familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, with a focus on mood disorders.

• Effective communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds, fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
