Come join our winning team!Our Mission: We are professionals committed to serving others, nurturing life, and promoting an individual's ability to thrive.Position Summary: The primary purpose of your job position is to administer medications to residents and assist with other aspects of their daily care and routine.Qualifications:Successful completion of Med Tech training programMinimum of six months' experience in long term care, home care, or a related field, preferably as a Med TechHigh School Diploma or equivalentMust have or be able to obtain a valid CPR certificationSpeak, read, and understand the English languageResponsibilities:Read and implement care/activities of daily living (ADLs) according to resident service plan within the scope of practice of certification or licensure.Responds to resident needs, pendant calls, and other community alarms in a timely manner.Demonstrates empathy and develops caring rapport with residents.Communicates clearly, professionally, and timely.Communicates change of condition in any resident to nursing in a timely and effective manner.Demonstrates behavior, which maintains and respects resident rights and promotes independence, regardless of race, religion, lifestyle, sexual preference, and disease process.Addresses individual behavioral needs of the resident and demonstrates the ability to identify psychosocial needs.Track all orders for medication changes and/or refills – prepare medications for distribution up to 24 hours in advanceParticipate in and complete narcotic counts at the beginning and end of shift, reporting any and all discrepancies to supervisor(s) immediatelyAssist caregivers in the performance of their job duties and assume caregiver activities and responsibilities when needed.Provide assistance at mealtime with selecting meals, serving, eating, and clearing traysTransport residents as necessary assisting them into and out of bed, wheelchairs, etc. following all safety/lifting and transferring techniques – escorting them to/from meals, activities, or other transportation needs as requested or assignedIf you meet the qualifications above, please apply now.Benefits: The company provides many benefits including the following:Competitive payHealth Benefits – Medical, dental, and vision coverages with company paying majority of costs for Medical HMO (with buy up plan options available)401(k) with company match (company match begins after 1 year of service)Company paid Life and disability insurancePaid Time Off (Vacation, Sick, Holiday)Employee Assistance programIdentity Theft and Travel insurance protectionsBeneHub employee sponsored discount programs and more….We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
