Content & Community Manager

Position summary

Independently plan, film and edit original short-form stories for Desi Dragon, Pearl & Leaf, Meridian Hill and Nature’s Bazaar in Jamaica, Queens. The focus is hands-on creative production rather than social scheduling.Key responsibilities

• Develop hooks, concepts and concise storylines.
• Film, photograph, interview and edit publishable pieces.
• Create repeatable workflows for multiple brands.
• Cover launches, events and community stories.
• Coordinate approved creator and community partnerships.
• Review engagement or business results when actually documented.

Required qualifications

• Portfolio showing independently produced and edited short-form video.
• Clear evidence of shooting, storytelling and postproduction ability.
• Strong production coordination and delivery skills.

Preferred qualifications

NYC hospitality or event work, creator partnerships, evidenced AI-assisted editing.
