Room Service Runner – Westin Tampa Bay Pyramid Global Hospitality seeks a highly motivated, customer‑focused Room Service Runner to join our team and deliver exceptional guest service. Role Overview The Room Service Runner takes guest orders over the phone, ensures accurate food orders, and delivers food & beverage to guest rooms efficiently. Responsibilities Be thoroughly familiar with menus, ingredients, preparation methods for each dish, wine list, and operating hours of all food and beverage outlets. Know the room layout, the property, and all hotel amenities. Collect orders from the kitchen, confirm correct preparation, and promptly deliver to the guest’s room. Substantiate signed checks and reconcile daily sales. Assist in collecting Room Service trays and other items from guest rooms, including proper breakdown of trays. Practice proper service etiquette and standards throughout the guests’ dining experience. Consistently deliver courteous, professional service. Maintain personal cleanliness and a clean, safe work environment. Qualifications Engaging and welcoming personality. Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits. Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment. Passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests. Excellent communication skills.
