As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a caring environment through reliable teamwork, professionalism, and integrity while responding to security-related concerns and assisting staff, patients, and visitors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour Job Schedule: Thur 03:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Monitor access points and visitor activity, support access-control procedures, and provide directions or assistance to individuals throughout the location. Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate pertinent information to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: Must be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements. Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue. Must be able to restrain individuals. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
