Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Associate in Warwick, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while contributing to a caring, reliable, and integrity-driven team at Allied Universal.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in required reports.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and client-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
