Client Service Supervisor

Client Service Supervisor VCA Holly Farms Animal Hospital seeks an experienced Client Service Professional to join our leadership team. Under direction from the Hospital Manager, the Client Service Supervisor performs a wide range of administrative activities related to quality patient care, client service, finance, accounting, marketing, staffing and HR, and discretionary activities that support effective business operations. The applicant must be a reliable self‑starter, motivated by a challenging, fast‑paced environment, with supervisory experience, a positive attitude, a friendly demeanor toward animals and people, detail oriented, multi‑task capable, and a strong commitment to high‑quality customer service. Skills and Qualifications Excellent knowledge of client service and communication center operations. Strong organizational skills. Strong client relations and interpersonal skills. Intermediate to expert computer skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong supervisory skills. Strong client service background. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds. 2 years of supervisory experience required. 2 years of experience in the veterinary field preferred. Flexible schedule covering days, nights, and weekends to ensure coverage. Job Responsibilities Responsible for day‑to‑day client service areas of the front office and internal departmental relations, including interviewing, training, coaching, mentoring, and disciplinary action. Provide on‑the‑job training to develop employee skill sets, advise on performance requirements and client service standards. Assist Hospital Manager with day‑to‑day operations. Resolve informal client complaints and report to Hospital Manager. Ensure efficient front‑office operations, enforcing policies, procedures and protocols. Identify and recommend solutions for potential problems, non‑routine situations, workflow process improvements, and client service needs. Make decisions on behalf of the department, demonstrating the best interest of the hospital and clients. Coach employees and direct reports. Assist in developing and delivering employee evaluations with Hospital Manager. Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining reporting tools and queries needed to manage the business. Handle communication of financial information to clients and doctors. Act as liaison between front office and other department supervisors. Why Join the VCA Holly Farms Family?
