Roles & Responsibilities Operations: Lead the assigned function (receiving or shipping), providing direction to associates and troubleshooting issues. Assist in supervising inbound and outbound shipments to ensure they are correct and carried out timely. Help with inventory control training, cycle counts and physical inventory counts to maintain accurate inventory. Collaborate with leadership to resolve inventory discrepancies. Prior to product storage, count all product, compare to manifest, check shipments, report shortages or damages. Check contents of orders as filled and assembled. Compare quantity, quality, labeling, and address with customer’s order to guarantee complete and correct outgoing shipments. Perform relocation, replenishment, and consolidation of product as directed. Inform management of resource allocation issues. Leadership & Supervision Ensure safe work environment by delivering safety training, enforcing procedures, and addressing issues. Collaborate with Assistant Warehouse Manager and Distribution Center Manager on development planning and execution. Use coaching, teaching, and training to develop team members. Participate in employee initiatives for engagement and team building. Provide input into performance assessments and recommend actions such as promotions or discipline. Assist in performance conversations and accountability discussions. Provide task-level direction within area of responsibility. Administration Assist with monitoring supply levels and ordering supplies. Job Qualifications High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred. 3+ years of supply chain experience, including distribution center, inventory, and transportation. Strong process improvement mindset focusing on continuous growth. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products. Experience with WMS, TMS, and ERP systems preferred. Meet Dealer Tire’s Motor Vehicle Record Policy and Company Vehicle Fleet Policy. Operate company vehicle safely and wear seat belt. Wear safety equipment when required. Must have valid driver’s license per state requirements. Must be able to speak/read English well enough for public interaction, road signs, official questions, and legible entries. Must be 21 years of age or older and pass driver’s road skills test and DOT physical after hire. Driver & Vehicle Requirements For Missouri, valid Class E license; for Michigan Distribution Center, valid Chauffeur’s License. Drug Policy Dealer Tire is a drug‑free environment.
