Director of Nursing
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to join our team in Calabasas. This pivotal role requires a leader with a comprehensive understanding of skilled nursing facilities and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all nursing operations and ensure high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement compliant nursing policies and procedures.
- Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff in a positive environment.
- Coordinate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical nursing standards.
Qualifications:
- Active, valid Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of California.
- Required 1 year Medicare Based Home Health Leadership experience.
- 5+ years RN experience, with at least 3 years as a DON in home health.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and regulations.
- Demonstrated success in hiring, training, and managing clinical teams.
