Position Summary

The PUD Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations and performance management of last-mile delivery vendors. This role focuses on vendor coordination, service quality monitoring, issue resolution, and operational optimization to ensure on-time delivery, cost control, and compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs).

This position requires hands-on operational experience, strong vendor management skills, and the ability to lead execution across multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Operations & Performance Management

• Manage day-to-day operations of last mile delivery vendors across assigned regions
• Monitor vendor performance metrics including on-time delivery, backlog, scan compliance, and exception rates
• Conduct regular performance reviews with vendors and escalate service issues when necessary
• Coordinate with vendors on volume planning, peak season execution, and contingency handling

Issue Resolution & Escalation

• Lead investigation and resolution of delivery delays, lost shipments, mis-scans, and service failures
• Work cross-functionally with warehouse, transportation, billing, and customer teams to resolve operational issues
• Support claim handling, exception tracking, and root cause analysis

Operational Coordination

• Ensure vendors follow SOPs, contractual requirements, and compliance standards
• Support new vendor onboarding, lane launches, and operational testing

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency, service quality, and operational scalability.
• Assist in developing and optimizing SOPs, workflows, and escalation processes
• Supportt peak season planning and execution

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in logistics, last mile delivery, or parcel operations
• Prior experience managing or coordinating with delivery vendors or carriers.
• Strong understanding of last mile operations, SLAs, and performance metrics
• Experience handling operational escalations and vendor negotiations
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or similar tools
• Excellent communication skills; able to work with internal teams and external partners
• Abilityy to work in a fast-paced, high-volume operational environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Supervisor or team lead experience
• Experience working with multiple regional or national last mile vendors
• Familiarity with PUD, parcel, or e-commerce logistics networks
• Bilingual (English / Mandarin) is a plus
