Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and assessments to accurately identify each client’s mental health and therapeutic needs.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that address the specific goals and challenges faced by clients.

• Provide a variety of therapeutic services, including psychotherapy and behavioral therapy sessions, using evidence-based practices to support mental health improvements.

• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation, including clinical and progress notes, adhering to departmental policies and best practices in record-keeping.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary health care teams to frame comprehensive treatment and discharge plans based on detailed psychosocial assessments and established social work interventions.

• Assist clients during the discharge planning process, ensuring they have access to the necessary resources and support systems within the community, facilitating coordination with relevant service providers.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Vertex Behavioral Healthcare, you will focus on a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families experiencing various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• An active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or its equivalent.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with word processing applications, email communication, spreadsheet creation, and electronic medical record systems.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently, with strong organizational skills and a self-directed approach to managing tasks and caseloads.

• Experience working with diverse populations, including various age groups and cultural backgrounds.

• Knowledge of additional therapeutic techniques and interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, and play therapy.

• Familiarity with care coordination processes and community resources within Pottstown, Pennsylvania.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Vertex Behavioral Healthcare offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
