About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Resident Engagement to lead the transformation of the resident experience across a large multi-family portfolio in New York City. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives that enhance resident satisfaction and community engagement. This role involves overseeing a high-volume call center and resident relations team, managing sensitive escalations, and collaborating with senior leadership to streamline operations and improve service delivery. The VP will also be instrumental in fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance, and will support lifestyle programming that builds a sense of community. Applicants for the Vice President of Resident Engagement position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience leading large, cross-functional teams in property management, hospitality, or a related industry. The role requires a deep understanding of NYC housing regulations or similar high-regulation markets, as well as the ability to manage complex issues with diplomacy and care. The ideal candidate will be known for their ability to coach, motivate, and build morale in fast-paced, high-stakes environments, and will be a calm, solutions-oriented communicator who thrives in dynamic, people-first organizations.
