This opportunity joins a growing team on 2nd shift and requires setting up and operating machines and related equipment where programs, fixtures, and methods have been developed.

Location:

Newburyport MA

100% Onsite

Responsibilities:

• Run all presses 2 ton to 100 ton
• Meet all standards on all operation's sheets
• Visual inspection while running presses
• Inspects work for all dimensional features as required per standard work.
• Produces quality and quantity of work in accordance with Company requirements.
• Responsible for keeping neat and clean work area at all times
• Responsible for all routing paperwork while running a job
• Follow all applicable AS9100 procedures

Required Qualifications:

• High School or equivalent
• Must be able to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Must be able to understand and interpret blueprints and sketches.
• Must have demonstrated mechanical ability.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years' experience as a CNC operator.

Working Conditions:

• Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
• Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
• Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to travel between locations or to suppliers up to 25% of time.
