Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, Delta Lake, PySpark, and SQL.
- Develop and maintain reliable data ingestion pipelines integrating data from REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Design and evolve data models that support analytics, reporting, and AI-driven applications.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Databricks workloads, cluster performance, and query execution.
- Ensure high standards for data quality, testing, documentation, and observability.
- Collaborate closely with Software Engineering, DevOps, and Product teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark (PySpark and/or Scala), and modern lakehouse architectures.
- Proven experience building robust data ingestion pipelines from RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Experience designing scalable ETL/ELT workflows for cloud-native environments.
- Familiarity with AWS services and modern infrastructure practices, including Terraform and containerized environments.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including version control, testing, CI/CD, and clean coding principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
