Start Date: 08/12/2026

Schedule: M-F 8-6P and/or 7 on 7 off model with occasional weekends

Hours/Week: 40+ hours

Employment Type: Contract

License/Certifications: ACTIVE NC LICENSE AND NC DEA REQUIRED

Experience: Prior inpatient cardiology APP experience supporting cardiologists

EMR: Cerner experience preferred

What You'll Do

• Perform inpatient rounding and consultations in a cardiology setting
• Assist cardiologists with patient management and procedures
• Support a multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality inpatient care
• Use Cerner EMR system efficiently to document patient interactions
• Collaborate with cardiology staff to coordinate patient treatment plans
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures

What You Need

Required:

• Active North Carolina RN and DEA licenses
• Prior inpatient cardiology APP experience supporting cardiology teams
• Cerner EMR experience
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills

Preferred:

• Experience working in a busy inpatient cardiology unit
• Ability to work flexible schedules and adapt to shift coverage needs
