RPH Sayre- is seeking a FT OR Housekeeper to join our dedicated team serving Sayre, PA and nearby communities.
As a Housekeeper in our Environmental Services team, you play a vital part in creating a safe, clean, and healing environment for patients, families, and staff. Your work directly supports Guthrie’s mission of delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care across the region.
Housekeepers ensures a clean, safe, and aseptic environment across inpatient, outpatient, and office areas. This role supports patient care by performing cleaning, disinfection, waste handling, and equipment maintenance while delivering exceptional customer service.
Your Workday:
Full Time- Benefits- 11:00-7:30

Position Summary:
This position will aid the Operating Room Team Members prior, during, and after surgical procedures. The main functions of this position will include maintaining a clean environment within the department and transporting.
Education, License & Cert:
This position has a minimum requirement of grammar school. This position also requires the ability to follow written and oral instruction.
Experience: On the job training is provided for this position.
Essential Functions:
1. Maintaining a clean, and organized environment
2. Uses the appropriate chemicals, supplies, or equipment when needed
3. Decontaminate operating room after surgical cases
4. Maintains storage rooms in a neat and orderly fashion
5. Maintains an acceptable level of cleanliness for all anesthesia and OR equipment 6. Is authorized to access secured storage areas in the performance of essential job functions and duties.
7. Assists in the orientation of new employees.
8. Transporting patients and beds to and from the Operating Room (OR)
9. Demonstrates proper handling of anesthesia and OR equipment/supplies during transportation
Other Duties:
1. Recognizes and reports potential problems to the supervisor or nursing manager on the floor.
2. Demonstrates willingness to accept non‐routine work assignments as appropriate.
3. Transport patients/specimens; obtaining supplies/laboratory products
4. Complies with policies and procedures of the hospital/ nursing department
5. Represents the hospital in a professional courteous manner to others while being sensitive to how others perceive both verbal and non‐verbal communications.
6. Demonstrates willingness to accept non‐routine work assignments as appropriate.
