What You Will Do Oversight of engineering activities across multi-disciplinary teams supporting MSS. Help ensure cost and schedule for on‑time delivery of software to meet mission, contractual obligations, and customer expectations. Interact daily with cross‑discipline teams to meet program goals and objectives while driving on‑time and on‑budget performance. Engage with the program office, functional and technical leaders. Identify early risks and opportunities, and define and execute mitigation and capture plans. Partner with chief engineers and technical leads to define and deliver cost‑effective technical solutions. Establish open and effective communication with team members, ensuring cross‑team training, mentoring, and growth opportunities. Review program status regularly, including tracking and review by Engineering and Program Leadership. Support development of software proposals and program proposal efforts. Develop and present EAC to appropriate discipline levels. Assist in sub‑contract management of entities delivering capabilities to the MSS team(s). Qualifications You Must Have Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years or more of prior relevant experience, unless prohibited by local laws/regulations. Experience in the full Software Development Life Cycle. Experience on a development program using Agile/Scrum and in DevSecOps/Automation. Ability to obtain U.S. government issued Secret security clearance after start date; U.S. citizenship required. Qualifications We Prefer Experience managing project or program cost, schedule and risk. Experience with Earned Value Management, Risk & Opportunity, and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). Experience presenting program and technical issues to senior stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills working in a team environment with positive interaction. Proactive self‑starter, determining goals and objectives and pursuing necessary action. Experience with proposal or capture efforts. Experience preparing customer and/or management level briefings. Experience with DoD or similar major programs throughout the product lifecycle. Earned Value Management System Certification. Experience with both domestic and international defense programs, including Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contracts.
