People Caring For And About People.Your Role as a Director of Nursing (DON):Lead, plan, and oversee daily operations of the nursing departmentSupervise nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, CMAs, and CNAsEnsure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulationsDevelop and implement nursing policies and proceduresMonitor quality of care and implement performance improvement initiativesOversee hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management of nursing staffProvide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to the nursing teamCollaborate with interdisciplinary departments to ensure coordinated, resident-centered careMaintain regulatory readiness and lead state survey processesFoster a positive, supportive, and accountable care environmentWhat We're Looking For:Graduate of an accredited School of NursingCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of OhioCurrent CPR certificationMinimum of 5 years of long-term care nursing experience, including leadership experienceStrong knowledge of long-term care regulations and clinical standardsProven leadership, decision-making, and team development skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesStrong organizational and time-management skillsCompassionate, resident-focused leadership approachYour Next Step Starts Here!
