Shift: Night (3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30)

Hours/Week: 36

Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract

Licenses/Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; Previous IV, Tele, Vent, Swan, Conscious Sedation, Balloon Pump, PA Line experience preferred

Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience preferred

Hourly Pay Rate: $59.18

What You'll Do

• Provide specialized cardiac care to critically ill patients in the CVICU.
• Monitor and assess patient vital signs and respond rapidly to changes.
• Administer IV therapies, medications, and utilize advanced cardiac technology including telemetry, vents, Swan-Ganz catheters, and balloon pumps.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols.
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic medical records.
• Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed during shifts.

What You Need

• Valid Ohio nursing license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with IV starts, telemetry, vents, Swan-Ganz, conscious sedation, balloon pumps, PA lines, Epic EMR
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Ability to float within similar units confidently

About the Assignment This CVICU RN role is based at a leading healthcare facility in Columbus, Ohio, focusing on complex cardiac patient care. The unit is staffed with dedicated professionals committed to excellence in critical care. You will work 12-hour night shifts, with up to six weekends per four-week schedule, supporting your work-life balance while delivering top-quality patient care.
