Associate Director, Field Reimbursement Manager - Liver - Southeast

Gilead Sciences seeks an Associate Director Field Reimbursement Manager specializing in liver market access for the Southeast region. The role involves managing payer relationships, resolving coverage barriers, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure patient access to Gilead therapies in a remote/field-based capacity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain business relationships with key accounts including providers and specialty pharmacies
• Serve as regional reimbursement expert using influence mapping to identify and engage key customer accounts
• Support patient access programs by streamlining benefit verification and prior authorization education processes
• Communicate formulary and reimbursement process changes to accounts and provide timely support on requirements
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in patient treatment journey using technology tools for high-need cases

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and ten years of experience, OR Master's degree and eight years, OR PhD and two years
• Experience in pharmaceutical field reimbursement, market access, patient services, or account management
• Deep knowledge of payer, provider, and health system relationships in reimbursement and access
• Demonstrated ability to engage and manage complex provider accounts and multi-location health systems
• Familiarity with pharmacy and medical benefits, specialty payer landscape, and reimbursement pathways
• Understanding of local, state, and national reimbursement policy changes and their operational impact
• Strong ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and communicate with executive leadership
