Monday - Friday

$18/hr Trainee
$20/hr after training
Piece Rate once trained

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Garage Door Installer to install garage door systems. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install residential garage doors, openers, tracks, springs, cables, and related hardware.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• Safely remove and replace damaged or outdated doors and components.
• Ensure proper alignment, balance, and functionality of door systems.
• Follow manufacturer specifications and company installation procedures.
• Provide customers with operational guidance and maintenance tips.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working condition.
• Complete service reports and job documentation accurately.
• Adhere to all safety policies and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in garage door installation, construction, carpentry, or mechanical repair preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use power tools and hand tools.
• Basic electrical knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs. and work at heights.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Work Environment:
• Work performed in residential homes and/or commercial job sites.
• Frequent lifting, climbing ladders, and working in varying weather conditions.
• Full-time position with occasional overtime.
