We have an exciting opportunity for a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician or Geriatrician to become a part of our highly respected, physician group.

Capital Health Plan (CHP) is a not-for-profit mixed model health maintenance organization (HMO) offering employer group and Medicare Advantage plans. We are nationally recognized for providing high quality care with low administrative costs and are known for our high patient satisfaction scores. At CHP, we focus on providing health care that is aligned with the Institute for Health Improvement's Triple Aim Initiative.

The Physician Group of Capital Health Plan (PGCHP) provides comprehensive health care for our patients of all ages, genders, and conditions. Our priority is focused around promoting disease prevention and healthy living. The PGCHP is a primary care practice providing care exclusively to Capital Health Plan members. It boasts amazing longevity, as many of the physicians have been with the practice for over 20 years. This has encouraged younger physicians to choose to join the practice, so that we may continue to thrive for years to come.

We recognize that there is an expanding population of aging patients in our community who have remained loyal to Capital Health Plan for over 35 years. Our desire is to place ourselves in a position to grow to meet the unique needs of this population. For this reason, we are seeking to add a Primary Care Physician to our group practice.

Leon County is also home to a large aging population: Almost one in five Leon County residents is age 60 or older, and the State of Florida projects that this population will grow by a remarkable 35 percent over the next 12 years, making it the county's fastest growing population segment.

Attracting more generalists and Family Practice doctors to Leon County will be essential to meeting the needs of this burgeoning population. Fortunately, the area has much to recommend it. Tallahassee has been ranked among the top livable cities in Florida, in part thanks to a cost of living 5.5% below the national average and an excellent school system. The variety of people who call it home - from students and families to legislators and athletes- make it a prime spot for new business ventures, especially with the city boasting the fastest growing economy per capita of any Florida city. Three universities support lifelong and cutting edge research. And Florida's capital city is home to a thriving medical community, centered around two full-service hospitals and Capital Health Plan, one of the nation's highest-rated health plans.

• Competitive salary with a Physician Incentive Program - over $300,000 total earning potential.
