The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments in a warehouse. Work involves moderate to heavy exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. Moderate to heavy physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 50 pounds and standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day. Work environment involves exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require strict understanding and adherence to safety precautions. Responsibilities Process incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders or invoices Prepare outgoing shipments by packing items, labeling packages, and arranging for transportation Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments Operate warehouse equipment including hand carts and forklifts Assist with order picking and order fulfillment as needed Ensure compliance with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) procedures Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting preferred Familiarity with shipping processes Knowledge of stock control principles and procedures Ability to operate a folk lift or willingness to learn Strong attention to detail and organizational skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
