Local radius restrictions are waived for this assignment. Must start by 12/18/2026. No holiday RTO (Request Time Off). No more than 5 days RTO. There is potential to float to the sister unit as needed. The average patient ratio is 1:2 for both day and night shifts. Years of experience required is 2 years. First-timers are accepted. Weekend requirements are every other weekend. Is on-call required? No. Will the clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes. Open to accommodating block schedule? No. Guaranteed hours are available. Special requirements include preferred experience in Neuro ICU. Type of facility is short-term acute care. Total staffed beds are 1,567. The charting system used is Epic. Daily census is around 17 patients. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. Patient diagnoses include subarachnoid hemorrhage, subdural hematoma, neuro-specific diseases, craniotomy, craniectomy, and neuro trauma. Special procedures performed in the unit include EVD placements, arterial and central line placements, intubation, and lumbar drain placements. Special equipment includes EVD, lumbar drain, ventilator, and CVVH. Each RN is expected to manage various skills and responsibilities related to critical care and neurological conditions. Travel experience is required. Certifications required include ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. Interdisciplinary support is available, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Modules are non-billable and vary by specialty.
