Role Description The Human Resources Payroll Coordinator is a part-time remote role responsible for supporting accurate and timely payroll processing and related HR activities. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and verifying payroll data, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. The coordinator will assist with managing employee benefits information, coordinating updates in HRIS systems, and responding to employee inquiries related to pay, timekeeping, and benefits. This role collaborates with HR and finance team members, maintains confidential information, and helps streamline processes to improve overall payroll and HR operations. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Payroll Administration, including accurate data entry, payroll review, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Experience in Human Resources (HR), with familiarity in employee lifecycle processes, HR policies, and support for employee relations. Proficiency with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), including maintaining records, updating employee data, and generating reports. Knowledge of Benefits Administration and Employee Benefits, including enrollment support, changes, and communication of benefit information. Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote environment. Effective written and verbal communication skills and a service-oriented approach when working with employees and internal teams. Basic proficiency with office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, email) and comfort learning new systems and tools. Prior experience in payroll or HR support is preferred; an associate or bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field is beneficial.
