Keep a mixed 100+ unit portfolio looking its best. GLR Companies is hiring a Porter to support grounds and common-area upkeep across a multi-site multifamily portfolio of 102 units, plus a small portfolio of single-family and duplex homes, in Northeast Ohio.

About the Role

You will travel across a mixed portfolio — a 102-unit multifamily community and a small portfolio of scattered-site single-family and duplex homes — keeping common areas, grounds, and curb appeal to a consistent, resident-ready standard at every location. This is a floating role: no single home site, but a route across multiple properties based on daily and weekly assignments. Mileage between properties is paid.

What You'll Do

• Common Area Upkeep: Clean and maintain hallways, breezeways, laundry rooms, community rooms, offices, and other shared spaces across sites on a set schedule
• Grounds Maintenance: Pick up litter and debris, maintain curb appeal, and keep parking lots, walkways, and entrances clean and presentable at every property
• Trash & Recycling: Manage dumpster and trash corral areas, remove trash from common areas, and keep disposal sites clean and orderly across locations
• Scattered-Site Support: Maintain curb appeal and light exterior upkeep at the single-family and duplex homes in the portfolio
• Seasonal Work: Support snow removal, salting, leaf removal, and other seasonal grounds work across all sites as needed
• Move-Out/Turn Support: Assist with trash-outs, light cleaning, and debris removal to support unit turns and the make-ready process
• Inspection Support: Help keep common areas, grounds, and home exteriors prepared for municipal, insurance, lender, and internal inspections
• Light Maintenance Assistance: Support the maintenance team with basic tasks such as light bulb replacement, minor repairs, and moving supplies or equipment as directed
• Safety: Follow safety and OSHA standards; report hazards, damage, or maintenance needs promptly

What You Bring

• Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, grounds, or porter work preferred; multifamily/scattered -site experience a plus
• Reliable, thorough, and detail-oriented work habits
• Ability to manage your own route and schedule across multiple locations with minimal supervision
• Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons and conditions
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation (required — this is a traveling, multi-site role)

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; climb ladders and stairs; stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods; and work indoors and outdoors in all Northeast Ohio weather conditions, including snow removal in winter months.
