About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President for Credit Risk. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of essential duties, including serving as a voting member of various credit risk committees, exercising final credit approval authority, and providing effective challenge on material credit risk decisions. The role also involves overseeing credit governance and approvals, credit framework and policy oversight, and portfolio monitoring and analytics. The SVP will be expected to have a deep understanding of credit risk management, significant leadership experience, and expertise in complex or specialized credit areas. Candidates for this role at The Company should have a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred, and at least 20 years of experience in financial services, particularly in credit risk management within a corporate or commercial lending environment. The position requires an individual with advanced knowledge of credit risk measurement methodologies, financial analysis, and applicable banking laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying and mitigating risks, as well as anticipating and responding to regulatory developments and macroeconomic conditions. Strong leadership skills and the ability to work closely with the Chief Credit Risk Officer and risk committees are essential.
