Job Requisition: ENVIR001609 • Employment Type: Evening • Shift: Part-time • Hours Per Week: 20 • Pay Range: $17.00–$22.74 (actual compensation determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law). • Location: Amsterdam, NY 12010, USA. Responsibilities Cleans patient rooms or other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens, and sanitizing all surfaces. Maintains quality standards through the use of standard cleaning procedures and protocols, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash and medical waste removal while following patient isolation or other special situations in accordance with facility standards. Stocks paper items and other supplies in assigned areas as necessary or designated. Maintains supplies and/or equipment in clean, working condition. Complexity of Work Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Personal Protective Equipment Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Qualifications Education: Less than high‑school diploma/GED. Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions in English. Ability to organize and establish day‑to‑day priorities while using critical thinking skills in all aspects of the job. Must be able to multitask while remaining professional, focused, composed, and positive. Excellent customer service skills. Displays integrity, friendliness, and compassion.
