Construction Estimator

- Must have 5+ years estimating all 16 divisions of construction.

- Analyze project plans and specifications to ensure comprehensive understanding of requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to develop realistic project budgets.
- Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering solutions.
- Manage bid proposals and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
- Track project costs and update estimates as necessary throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain a database of historical cost data to improve accuracy in future estimates.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
The Successful Applicant A successful Construction Estimator should have:
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and cost estimation techniques.
- Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and technical documents.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with project stakeholders.
- A proactive approach and attention to detail.
- A degree or certification in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
