Job Description Albemarle is hiring for a Senior Data Intelligence Analyst – Databricks & Enterprise Reporting. This position is hybrid and located in Budapest, Hungary. Support the evolution of Albemarle’s analytics landscape beyond traditional enterprise reporting by helping define and establish how Databricks and AI-powered analytics capabilities are implemented at scale across Finance and Supply Chain. What You Will Do: This is a senior, enterprise-facing analytics architecture and AI enablement role within Albemarle’s Corporate Reporting & Analytics CoE. We are in the early stages of building our Databricks environment and advancing AI-driven analytics capabilities. As a result, this role will play a critical part in helping define the frameworks, standards, and practical use cases that will shape our future-state analytics ecosystem. Today, our analytics landscape includes Power BI, Celonis, SAP S/4, SAP BW, and BOBJ. Databricks is a newly enabled capability, and we are looking for someone with strong hands-on experience to guide how it should be used effectively alongside emerging AI-powered analytical solutions. You will partner across Finance, Supply Chain, and IT to define how data is structured, modeled, and used — guiding Databricks pipeline design while IT owns build and delivery. The focus is on data modeling, analytics design, and scalable AI-enabled insights that will evolve with the platform. What You’ll Build / Own Define early-stage design patterns and usage frameworks for Databricks and AI-enabled analytics capabilities Enterprise data models and architectural patterns that guide IT-built pipelines in Databricks Standardized business logic, definitions, and transformations across Finance and Supply Chain Curated analytics-ready datasets and semantic models for Power BI and AI use cases AI-enabled analytics capabilities, helping define initial use cases and scalable patterns (Copilot, Databricks, NLP) Standards and documentation for data modeling, reporting, and AI readiness Cross-functional alignment between business and IT on data structures, pipeline design, and analytics use cases Core Responsibilities Data Architecture & Analytics Design Define and design data pipelines and transformations in Databricks in partnership with IT Translate business requirements into scalable data models and pipeline specifications Ensure alignment between SAP, Databricks, and Power BI reporting layers Bring hands-on Databricks experience to prototype, validate, and guide design decisions in an evolving environment AI & Analytics Innovation Design and enable AI-powered analytics solutions (Copilot, natural language querying) Help shape how AI-powered analytics solutions are introduced, tested, and scaled within the enterprise Business Intelligence & Reporting Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards using DAX and enterprise data models Define and govern semantic layers and reporting standards Stakeholder Engagement Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT engineering teams Communicate insights and architecture decisions to leadership What You Bring: 5+ years in data analytics or BI in an enterprise environment Strong, hands-on experience with Databricks (early-stage or evolving environments) Proficiency in Python and SQL Deep expertise in Power BI Experience partnering with IT on pipeline design Hands-on experience with AI/ML or AI-powered analytics solutions Working knowledge of SAP data environments Why This Role is Different Early-stage build — help define the future-state analytics and AI ecosystem Enterprise scope across Finance and Supply Chain AI-first focus using Databricks and Copilot High visibility and influence on architecture decisions Benefits of Joining Albemarle Competitive compensation Comprehensive benefits package A diverse array of resources to support you professionally and personally. #J-18808-Ljbffr Albemarle Corporation
