Account Manager

Made in America is an Austin-based manufacturer of complex, high-tolerance components and assemblies serving mission-critical markets including space, aerospace, defense, and precision industrial applications. We are hiring an Account Manager to own and grow our largest foundational customer account. This is a high-visibility role focused on relationship management, open order execution, proactive communication, and revenue growth through expanded wallet share.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the day-to-day relationship and communication with a key strategic customer
- Manage open order reports, delivery schedules, customer updates, and issue resolution
- Drive account growth by expanding programs, increasing wallet share, and converting RFQs
- Partner cross-functionally with Estimating, Scheduling, Purchasing, and Operations
- Identify risks early and communicate clearly with both customers and internal teams
- Maintain strong CRM discipline in Salesforce
What We’re Looking For
- Experience managing and growing key or strategic customer accounts
- Strong organization, communication, and follow-through in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively across technical and commercial stakeholders
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work on-site in Austin, TX
Preferred Experience
- Manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or precision industrial experience
- Familiarity with MRP systems, ideally JobBOSS
- Blueprint reading and/or GD&T knowledge
