Job Summary: The GRC Crisis Services Shift Supervisor provides shift-level leadership for crisis programs at the Glick Recovery Campus. Under the direction of the Director, Continuous Care, this position oversees daily operations, staffing, guest throughput, and service coordination across programs during the assigned shift. The Shift Supervisor serves as the on-site resource for operational problem-solving, supports service delivery from registration through direct guest care within licensure and scope of practice, and promotes adherence to clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards through collaboration with administrative and clinical staff.

Shifts include $4.00 shift premium & working every other weekend.

Qualifications

Education: Master of Social Work (MSW)

License or Certification: Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), LISW-S preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of five years of experience in a community in mental health, psychiatric, or healthcare setting, with progressively increasing responsibilities.

• Minimum of two years of experience following attainment of LISW licensure preferred.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Ability to prioritize competing demands, exercise sound judgment, and respond effectively to operational issues.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced crisis services environment and collaborate across service lines.

Working Conditions

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations and staffing for Crisis Programs during the assigned shift.
• Promotes a culture of open, service-centered care delivery through leadership, coaching, supervision, and role modeling of clinical best practices.
• Serves as the on-site point of contact for problem-solving and issue resolution during the assigned shift.
• Facilitates service milestones, guest throughput, and collaboration across service lines to support achievement of each individual’s Crisis Care Plan goals.
• Supports service delivery from registration through direct guest care in alignment with current licensure and scope of practice.
• Ensures incident reports and shift documentation are completed accurately and in accordance with established standards.
• Maintains knowledge of policies, regulations, and workflows governing crisis service delivery.
• Maintains patient confidentiality in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other applicable privacy requirements.
• Attends departmental and staff meetings as required.
• Works collaboratively and professionally with coworkers, volunteers, and staff across departments.
• Contributes to departmental and organizational decision-making through active participation and collaboration.
• Must be physically capable of and willing to participate in all levels of de-escalation with individuals receiving GRC crisis services.

The Glick Recovery Campus operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, providing crisis services in psychiatric, substance use, and related healthcare settings. This position works in a fast-paced environment across administrative, clinical, and common areas of the campus and requires regular direct interaction with individuals receiving services, visitors, and interdisciplinary staff. The role may involve exposure to individuals in crisis and requires the ability to move throughout the campus, respond promptly to operational and clinical needs, and physically participate in all levels of de-escalation consistent with training, licensure, and program expectations.
